Krympestrømpe DeLOCK 19985

The DeLOCK 19985 heat shrink tube is made of polyolefin and provides insulation and mechanical protection for wires, cables and electrical conduits. When heat is applied, the tube contracts to form a tight fit around the object, and the inner adhesive bonds the sleeve to the shrunk cable to improve sealing and strain relief. The product is supplied in a practical dispenser box that keeps the tubing clean and allows easy dispensing and cutting.

Advantages

The polyolefin construction ensures durable electrical insulation and resistance to mechanical stress. The inner adhesive secures the sleeve to the cable after shrinking, improving environmental protection against moisture and dust. The dispenser box enables neat storage, simple transport and convenient individual cutting as required.

Suitable for

• Insulating and protecting electrical wires and cable joints
• Repairing damaged cable sheaths
• Bundling and strain-relief for wire harnesses in workshops or industrial settings
• General cable organisation and protection in electronics and automotive applications

How to use

Cut the required length from the dispenser box, slide the tube over the cable or joint, and apply heat evenly using a heat gun or other suitable heat source until the tube uniformly shrinks and the inner adhesive flows and bonds to the cable. Allow the sleeve to cool so the adhesive sets and the tube completes its seal. Avoid direct flame contact and over-heating sensitive components during application.

Recommendations

For reliable results, select a heat source that provides controlled, even heat (e.g. a regulated heat gun). Ensure the surface is clean and dry before application. Use appropriate personal protective equipment when working with heated materials.
