Krympestrømpe-sæt DeLOCK 20866 sortimentsboks 135 stk.

This heat shrink tube set by Delock is designed to insulate and protect cables, electrical tubes and wires. When heat is applied the sleeve contracts and tightly encloses the cable; an inner adhesive layer on the dual-wall tubes bonds to the cable to improve moisture and mechanical protection. The tubes are transparent and made from polyethylene.

Advantages

The assortment includes multiple diameters and two shrink ratios (2:1 single-wall and 3:1 dual-wall with adhesive), allowing use on a wide range of cable sizes. A reusable plastic storage box keeps the tubes clean and organised and can also store small accessories. The materials provide reliable insulation and basic mechanical protection for electrical connections.

Suitable for

• Electrical wiring repair and insulation
• Protection of cable joints and soldered connections
• Workshop, home and industrial cable maintenance
• Colourless identification when transparency is required

How to use

Cut the required tube to length, slide it over the cable or joint and apply heat with a hot air gun or equivalent heat source. For 2:1 tubes expect the diameter to reduce to approximately half of the original size; for 3:1 adhesive-lined tubes expect shrinkage to about one third of the original diameter. Ensure even heating and maintain a suitable distance to avoid overheating the cable insulation.

Recommendations

Use a regulated hot air gun for consistent results; allow adhesive-lined tubes to cool before handling to ensure a secure bond. Select a tube diameter that, after shrinking, will fit snugly around the cable or connection.
