Lindy 2-port automatisk optisk lydomskifter

The Lindy 2 Port Automatic Optical Audio Switch connects two digital Toslink sources to a single optical (S/PDIF) input on an AV amplifier, Hi‑Fi or home cinema system. The compact device senses an active optical signal and switches automatically to the live source, reducing the need to plug and unplug Toslink cables. Toslink cables are not included.

Advantages

The switch offers automatic detection of the active optical input, a compact black housing (75 mm x 65 mm x 30 mm) and lightweight construction (0.055 kg). It supports two optical output channels while maintaining a single input/output routing for easy integration with existing audio equipment. The device uses a 5 V supply with a 1.2 A available current and is supplied in a small package for convenient storage and transport.

Suitable for

• Connecting game consoles to an AV receiver or soundbar
• Switching between HD players and set‑top boxes
• Integrating a PC audio output with a home cinema system

How to use

Place the switch near your AV amplifier or audio device and connect the optical Toslink cables from your audio sources to the two input ports. Connect the switch output to the single Toslink input on your AV receiver, soundbar or Hi‑Fi system. Power the unit using the supplied 5 V supply. The switch will automatically detect the active optical signal and route audio from that source to the connected playback device. To change sources, power the desired source or stop playback on the current source; the switch will change to the newly active input.

Recommendations

Use high‑quality Toslink cables of appropriate length to maintain signal integrity. Ensure devices are powered through the correct sequence when troubleshooting (power off, connect, then power on). Keep the unit in a dry, ventilated location and avoid excessive bending of optical cables. Note that Toslink cables are not included with the switch.
