Lydkabel Procab CLS225-B2CA/1 100 m sort AWG 13

The PROCAB CLS225-B2CA/1 is a 100 m, 2-core loudspeaker installation cable designed for professional audio systems. With AWG 13 conductor size and a smooth black outer jacket, this cable is intended for fixed installations where reliable signal transmission, durability and compliance with fire safety regulations are required. The CLS225-B2ca series meets B2ca classification under the Construction Products Regulation (CPR) to limit flame spread and reduce toxic smoke in case of fire. The cable is suitable for indoor, outdoor and humid environments and includes a printed meter indicator on every metre for easier deployment from bulk reels.

Advantages

The cable’s AWG 13 conductors provide low resistance for efficient speaker signal delivery and maintain audio quality across longer runs. Its LSHF (Low Smoke, Halogen Free) jacket reduces hazardous gases and smoke generation in high-heat situations. The smooth, durable outer sheath and flexible stranding simplify installation and cable pulling, while the metre markings on the jacket allow accurate measuring and faster setup. Compliance with B2ca CPR requirements ensures enhanced fire and flammability performance for fixed installations.

Suitable for

• Fixed loudspeaker installations in public buildings and commercial venues
• Long-run speaker connections in auditoriums, schools and churches
• Indoor and outdoor audio installations including humid environments
• Bulk cable use for custom terminated speaker leads or permanent wiring

Key specifications

• Cable length: 100 m
• Conductor size: AWG 13 (2-core speaker cable)
• Core construction: stranded for flexibility and easier handling
• Outer jacket: smooth, durable black sheathing
• Fire performance: B2ca classification (CPR) for reduced flame spread
• Sheath material: LSHF (Low Smoke, Halogen Free)
• Environmental suitability: indoor, outdoor and humid conditions
• Installation aid: metre indicator printed on every metre of the cable

How to use

Measure the required run using the printed metre indicators on the jacket and cut the cable to length. Strip the outer jacket and prepare the AWG 13 conductors according to the speaker and amplifier terminal requirements. Terminate with appropriate connectors or soldered joints as needed for your installation. Route the cable following local building and electrical regulations, avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension while pulling to preserve conductor integrity. For outdoor use, protect exposed terminations from moisture with appropriate housings or sealing compounds.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep individual run lengths within recommended amplifier and speaker specifications to avoid excessive power loss. Use appropriate strain relief and cable clips during installation to prevent mechanical stress. When installing in public or escape route areas, verify that B2ca classification and LSHF properties meet the local fire-safety requirements.
