Mikrofonvindskærm Omnitronic 6000628E

The Omnitronic 6000628E microphone windshield is a microphone absorber system designed for studio and live use. Its chrome-plated steel frame holds high-density acoustic foam that reduces reflections and echoes and helps minimize background noise during vocal and instrumental recordings. The unit includes a stand screw clamp that fits common microphone stands with standard internal threads and is mounted behind the microphone with an adjustable distance.

Advantages

The chrome-plated steel frame provides stable support while the high-density acoustic foam reduces disturbing noises such as reflections, echoes and plosive sounds. The windshield’s dimensions and construction make it suitable for various microphone types, and the stand screw clamp allows simple attachment to standard microphone stands. Its durable materials support repeated studio and live use.

How to use

Mount the windshield behind the microphone using the included stand screw clamp. Attach the clamp to a compatible microphone stand with standard internal threads and adjust the distance so the foam enclosure is positioned to shield the microphone capsule from direct air blasts and room reflections. Ensure the clamp is tightened securely but avoid over-tightening that could damage the stand threads. Position the microphone as required for the recording situation and make small distance adjustments to balance isolation and natural sound.

Recommendations

For best results, place the windshield as close as possible to the microphone capsule without obstructing the microphone body. Use in combination with proper microphone placement and room treatment to achieve optimal reduction of wind noise, plosives and unwanted reflections.
