Netkabel ProXtend PC-KITC15-005 EDB til C15, 5 m længde

ProXtend PC-KITC15-005 EDB to C15, 5 m length is a power cord designed to connect equipment that accepts an IEC C15 inlet to an EDB (European desktop/block) mains plug. The 5 metre fixed length provides a tidy routing option for racks, server cabinets, workstations and desktop systems where a C15 connector is required. The cable construction balances flexibility and durability to suit professional IT environments such as data centres and network rooms.

Advantages

This power cord offers a standardized IEC C15 connection compatible with devices that need a higher-temperature rated connector. The 5 m length reduces the need for extensions and helps position equipment safely relative to wall outlets or power distribution units. Designed for continuous use in IT installations, the cable insulation and connector mouldings are intended to withstand regular insertion and removal while maintaining secure contact and electrical safety.

Suitable for

• Servers and rack-mounted equipment with IEC C15 inlet
• Network switches, routers and telecommunications hardware
• Workstations and professional desktop systems requiring a C15 connector
• Data centres, server rooms and technical closets

Key specifications

• Connector A: EDB mains plug (country-specific configuration)
• Connector B: IEC C15 female
• Cable length: 5 metres
• Cable type: flexible power cable suitable for IT equipment
• Construction: moulded connectors with strain relief for frequent handling
• Operating environment: indoor use in professional IT and networking installations

How to use

Ensure that both the mains supply and the target device are powered off before connecting the cable. Insert the EDB plug into a compatible mains outlet or UPS/PDU socket, and push the IEC C15 connector firmly into the device inlet until it seats securely. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and contact with hot surfaces. When disconnecting, grip the connector body rather than pulling the cable to avoid stress on the terminations.

Recommendations

Use this cord in indoor, dry environments and within the rated temperature and current specifications of your equipment. Avoid running the cable under heavy furniture or across pedestrian walkways without appropriate protection. For installations in racks or cabinets, secure and route the cable to prevent strain on connectors and to maintain airflow around equipment.
