Netværkskabel Delock LC Duplex Multimode OM4 100 m sort

The Delock LC Duplex Multimode OM4 100m Black is a fiber optic cable designed for high-speed data transmission in enterprise and data center environments. This 100-meter multimode OM4 cable uses LC duplex connectors and a durable black outer jacket to provide consistent optical performance for short- to medium-range links. It conforms to OM4 multimode specifications to support elevated bandwidth and reduced modal dispersion compared with lower-grade multimode fibers.

Advantages

The cable offers stable, low-loss connections suitable for high-density installations and patch panel use. Its OM4 multimode fiber provides improved bandwidth performance for 10GbE, 40GbE and 100GbE short-reach applications over multimode links. The LC duplex connectors enable compact port density and straightforward polarity management. The black jacket increases durability and helps protect the fiber from mechanical wear and environmental factors in typical indoor installations.

Suitable for

• Data center interconnects and rack-to-rack connections
• High-speed local area network (LAN) backbones
• Fiber patch panels and distribution frames
• Short-reach multimode links for enterprise networks

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode OM4
• Connector type: LC duplex on both ends
• Length: 100 m
• Jacket color: Black
• Typical applications: 10GbE, 40GbE, 100GbE short-reach multimode
• Construction: Tight-buffered multimode fiber suitable for indoor use

How to use

Install the cable by routing it through cable trays or conduits as required by your infrastructure, avoiding sharp bends and excessive tensile stress. Terminate each end into LC ports on transceivers, patch panels or switches, ensuring correct polarity for duplex links. Verify signal integrity with appropriate optical test equipment and perform loss measurements if needed to confirm link performance. Secure the cable with cable ties or Velcro straps and maintain bend radius recommendations during and after installation.

Recommendations

Store and handle the fiber cable in a clean, dry environment. Maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius and avoid kinking to prevent increased attenuation. Use dust caps on LC connectors when not connected and follow routine inspection and cleaning procedures for optical connectors to ensure long-term performance.
