Omnitronic 30225207 XLR 0,5 m Lydkabel

The Omnitronic 30225207 XLR 0.5m audio cable is a short splitter cable with a single male XLR (3-pin) connector on one end and two female XLR (3-pin) connectors on the other. Designed for reliable analog audio transmission, this compact black cable enables a single balanced microphone or line-level signal to be routed to two separate XLR inputs without additional active electronics. Its 0.5 m length and lightweight construction suit close-proximity connections on stage, in studio patch bays, or at live sound consoles.

Advantages

This Omnitronic XLR cable provides a balanced signal path that helps reduce interference and maintain audio integrity over short distances. The molded XLR connectors ensure secure, vibration-resistant contacts while the compact design minimizes cable clutter. Its durable black jacket resists wear during regular handling and transport, and the short length reduces signal loss and keeps routing tidy in tight setups.

How to use

Connect the male XLR connector to the output of a microphone, DI box, or other balanced audio source. Plug the two female XLR connectors into the intended inputs on mixers, preamps, or recorders. Verify polarity and phase on the receiving devices and adjust input gain as required. Because this cable passive-splits a signal, avoid using it to combine outputs from two active sources into one input without proper summing or isolation to prevent equipment damage.

Recommendations

Use this short XLR splitter for passive signal distribution over short distances only. For combining multiple outputs or long cable runs, choose dedicated active splitters or distribution amplifiers to maintain signal level and impedance. Store the cable coiled loosely and avoid sharp bends at connector junctions to extend service life.
