Passiv holder Brodit 215912 mobilcomputer sort

The swiveling top support is designed for use with Brodit holders that have a tilt swivel plate measuring 42 x 50 mm. It provides an adjustable top restraint for passive holders such as the Brodit 215912 Mobile computer Black, improving device retention in demanding or vibration-prone environments.

Advantages

The top support is simple to attach to compatible Brodit holders and allows height adjustment to match the exact dimensions of your device. It secures a mobile computer or rugged PDA in the holder to reduce the risk of the device falling out during movement or impacts. Compatibility is straightforward to verify by measuring the distance from the top edge of the tilt swivel to the top of the device when placed in the holder.

Suitable for

• Mobile computers and rugged PDAs used in vehicles or industrial settings
• Passive Brodit holders with a 42 x 50 mm tilt swivel plate
• Environments with vibrations or frequent movement where extra device retention is needed

Key specifications

• Compatible tilt swivel plate size: 42 x 50 mm
• Adjustable fit range (distance from tilt swivel top edge to device top): 85–100 mm
• Colour: Black (matches Brodit 215912)

How to use

Place your device into the compatible Brodit passive holder and attach the swiveling top support to the holder’s tilt swivel plate. Adjust the height of the top support so the top restraint contacts the device securely. Confirm that the measured distance from the top edge of the tilt swivel to the top of the device falls within the supported range of 85–100 mm to ensure correct fit and retention.

Recommendations

Before installation, measure the distance from the top edge of the tilt swivel to the top of your device when it is seated in the holder; the top support fits only if this distance is between 85 mm and 100 mm. Regularly check the fastening and adjustment if the holder is used in rough conditions.
