Patchkabel ACT CAT5E U/UTP Litze blå 100 m

ACT CAT5E U/UTP stranded patch cable in blue, 100 m reel. The cable is constructed with four pairs of stranded copper (AWG24) conductors insulated and wrapped in a PVC jacket to provide flexible, durable U/UTP connectivity for Ethernet and general network cabling. The blue colour aids identification in structured cabling installations.

Advantages

The stranded AWG24 conductors provide greater flexibility compared with solid-core cable, simplifying routing and frequent movement. PVC outer jacket offers basic insulation and mechanical protection. The U/UTP design (unshielded twisted pairs without overall shield) is suitable for typical LAN environments while keeping installation straightforward.

Suitable for

• Ethernet patching and horizontal cabling in offices and homes
• Flexible connections between switches, patch panels and devices
• Temporary or movable network setups where cable flex is required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 100 m reel
• Conductor: Stranded copper, AWG24
• Pairs: 4 pairs (Blue/White, Orange/White, Green/White, Brown/White)
• Type: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pairs)
• Cable construction: 4x2x0.14 mm²
• Jacket material: PVC
• Colour: Blue

How to use

Cut the required length from the 100 m reel and strip the jacket carefully to expose the twisted pairs. Terminate each pair into RJ45 plugs or keystone jacks following the chosen wiring standard (T568A or T568B). Test the terminated cable with a network tester to confirm continuity and pair integrity before deployment.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel and close to high-voltage power lines or large electrical equipment. Use proper strain relief at termination points and maintain bend radii recommended by network installation standards to prevent damage to the stranded conductors.
