Patchpanel ShiverPeaks BS75059

The ShiverPeaks BS75059 patch panel is a 19-inch networking component designed for structured cable management and organized connectivity. Compatible with Cat6 cabling, this black patch panel provides a centralized termination point for network cables, simplifying changes and maintenance in small office or home network racks. Constructed for steady performance, it supports reliable signal routing and keeps cabling arranged to reduce clutter and potential interference.

Advantages

The patch panel offers a durable metal housing and standardized port layout that facilitate quick installation into rack enclosures. With Cat6 compatibility, it supports higher data rates and improved crosstalk performance compared with earlier categories, helping maintain signal integrity for modern Ethernet applications. Its black finish blends with professional rack environments and helps conceal dust and minor wear.

Suitable for

• Small and medium office network racks
• Home lab and structured cabling projects
• Data distribution and patching in server rooms
• Temporary or permanent installations requiring centralized cable termination

Key specifications

• Category compatibility: Cat6
• Form factor: 19-inch rack mount
• Color: black
• Port arrangement: standardized RJ45 port configuration suitable for patching panels
• Construction: metal housing designed for durability

How to use

Mount the patch panel in a standard 19-inch rack or cabinet using appropriate screws and cage nuts. Terminate incoming Cat6 cables to the rear termination points following T568A or T568B wiring standards and verify pair alignment. Use short patch cables to connect the panel ports to switches or routers on the front side. Label ports as needed to maintain an organized cabling scheme and perform continuity and performance tests after installation to confirm proper connections.

Recommendations

Install in a climate-controlled rack to avoid extreme temperature or humidity. Maintain bend radius guidelines for Cat6 cables and avoid running power and data cables in parallel conduits to reduce interference. Periodically inspect terminations and tighten rack-mount hardware to ensure long-term reliability.
