Racksokkel EFB Elektronik PRO-SOK86PB.TS

The EFB Elektronik PRO-SOK86PB.TS rack plinth is a steel support element designed to sit beneath standard server and network racks. With external dimensions of 800 mm width, 600 mm depth and a height of 100 mm, this plinth provides a stable, low-profile base that increases the structural rigidity of rack installations and helps distribute equipment weight evenly. The black finish offers a discreet, professional appearance suitable for data rooms, telecom cabinets and IT closets.

Advantages

Constructed from steel, the plinth adds rigidity and load-bearing capacity to the rack while protecting the lowest rack frame from direct floor contact. The low 100 mm height maintains a compact overall rack footprint and facilitates airflow management close to the floor. Its black surface reduces visible wear and integrates visually with typical rack enclosures. The plinth is designed for straightforward placement under compatible racks, offering durable support for long-term installations.

Suitable for

• Server and network racks requiring a stable base
• Telecommunication cabinets in equipment rooms
• Data center aisles where elevated rack support is needed
• IT closets and technical rooms with standard rack footprints

Key specifications

• Material: steel
• Finish: black
• External width: 800 mm
• External depth: 600 mm
• Height: 100 mm
• Function: base/plinth for rack support and weight distribution

How to use

Place the plinth on a level, stable floor surface and align it with the rack’s mounting points or base frame. Lower the rack onto the plinth so that the rack’s feet or base frame sit fully on the steel surface, ensuring even contact along the full width and depth. If required, use appropriate fasteners or anti-slip pads at the interface between the rack and plinth to secure the assembly and prevent shifting. Check alignment and stability after installation and periodically inspect for corrosion or damage.

Recommendations

Use the plinth on a flat, load-bearing floor and verify that the combined weight of the rack and installed equipment does not exceed the load capacity of the floor and the rack structure. For installations in damp or corrosive environments, consider additional surface protection or environmental controls to prolong the plinth’s service life.
