How to use

Hold the Bahco 425-38 with the wooden handle in your dominant hand and support the workpiece firmly. Use controlled, long slicing strokes when paring to remove thin wood layers; for tight areas, work from the waste toward the layout line. Keep the bevel oriented appropriately for the cut and use the full length of the blade where possible to maintain a consistent surface. Regularly hone the edge to preserve cutting performance.

Recommendations

Maintain the blade by honing before use and stoning periodically. Store the chisel in a protective sleeve or tool roll to prevent edge damage and keep the wooden handle dry to avoid swelling or cracking.
