Wirewin SHELF 400 BL 1U 19 inch rack-blindplade sort

For rack installations where unused vertical space compromises cooling efficiency and exposes internal hardware to contamination, the Wirewin SHELF 400 BL offers a solid, non-ventilated barrier that restores proper airflow dynamics and gives the rack a clean, professional finish. Unlike perforated filler panels that allow dust ingress, this blanking panel completely seals the 1U opening, directing conditioned air through active equipment instead of escaping through empty slots.

Highlights

• Precision-formed 1U steel panel for standard 19-inch racks
• Solid non-ventilated design blocks airflow bypass and dust entry
• Durable black powder-coated finish resists scratches and corrosion
• Four mounting points ensure secure, rattle-free installation
• RoHS compliant construction for environmentally conscious deployments

In daily use

Installing the SHELF 400 BL takes only minutes with standard rack screws (not included). Its slim 15 mm depth keeps it flush with the front rail, preserving valuable cabinet space behind the panel. The matte black surface blends seamlessly with most server and network equipment, creating a uniform appearance across the rack. In data centers and network closets, this panel helps maintain lower intake temperatures by preventing hot exhaust air from recirculating to the front of the rack, which can extend the service life of sensitive electronics.
