Afisoleringstang Cimco 120027 rød

The Cimco 120027 cable stripper is a compact hand tool designed for precise removal of insulation from round cables with diameters from 4.8 mm up to 7.5 mm. Its ergonomic red handle provides a secure, comfortable grip for repetitive work, while the built-in cutting mechanism and adjustable stripping depth help achieve clean, consistent results. The tool is suitable for electricians, technicians, and DIY users who require fast, accurate preparation of power and signal cables.

Advantages

The tool combines an ergonomic grip with a reliable blade mechanism that reduces the risk of nicking the conductor. Its size range covers common small to medium round cables used in building installations and equipment wiring. The simple adjustment and easy handling support quick operation on the job or in the workshop without the need for additional tools.

Suitable for

• Stripping insulation from round cables with diameters between 4.8 mm and 7.5 mm
• Electrical installation and maintenance work
• Workshop and assembly tasks involving power and signal cables
• Home DIY electrical repairs and hobby projects

Key specifications

• Stripping capacity: 4.8–7.5 mm diameter cables
• Handle: ergonomic red design for comfortable grip
• Operation: manual hand tool with integrated cutting/stripping mechanism
• Application: for round insulated cables used in power and signal installations

How to use

Place the cable into the tool’s stripping channel and set the position according to the required stripping length. Squeeze and rotate or pull the tool as designed to cut through the insulation without contacting the conductor. Withdraw the stripped insulation to expose the conductor. Check the conductor for nicks or damage and, if necessary, repeat the operation with a smaller adjustment to protect the conductor. Regularly inspect the blade for wear and replace or service the tool if cutting performance declines.

Recommendations

Use the tool only on cables within the specified diameter range to avoid damage. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment when working with live circuits — always de-energize circuits before stripping conductors. Store the cable stripper in a dry place and keep blades clean to maintain consistent stripping quality.
