Audioforstærker Omnitronic 80709631 Performance Scene sort

The Omnitronic 80709631 Performance Stage Black audio amplifier is a compact Class A/B unit designed for live and installed sound where reliable, clear power is required. It delivers up to 180 W peak per channel with a measured Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) of 0.5%, and accepts a standard AC mains input of 230 V at 50 Hz. The amplifier features clamp-style speaker terminals for straightforward wiring and a moderate typical power consumption of 360 W. Its rack-friendly footprint (483 mm wide, 400 mm deep, 89 mm high) makes it practical for stage racks, PA systems and fixed installations where space efficiency and dependable output matter.

Advantages

The Class A/B topology provides a balance between audio fidelity and thermal efficiency, producing low distortion suitable for music and speech reinforcement. Compact dimensions and a standard 19-inch rack width allow easy integration into existing stage and studio racks. Clamp terminals simplify speaker connections and reduce setup time. The unit's moderate power consumption supports extended operation without excessive mains load while providing sufficient peak power for dynamic live passages.

How to use

Install the amplifier in a ventilated rack space with adequate airflow around the chassis. Connect the AC mains using a suitable mains lead to the 230 V, 50 Hz supply and ensure the mains circuit can support the typical power consumption. Use the clamp terminals to attach speaker cables, observing correct polarity to the loudspeakers. Apply input signals from a mixer or signal source, set input gain and output levels gradually while monitoring for clipping or excessive heating. Allow the amplifier to warm up briefly before full-volume operation and power down by reducing levels first, then switching off the unit.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term performance, place the amplifier where airflow is not obstructed, avoid stacking heat-emitting equipment directly on top, and use speaker cables of adequate gauge for run length. Regularly check ventilation openings for dust and ensure speaker connections remain tight. Match the amplifier's power capabilities to speaker handling ratings to prevent overload during dynamic peaks.
