Fiberkabel EFB Elektronik O0318FT.35

The EFB Elektronik O0318FT.35 is a 35 m OM4 flat twin duplex fibre optic jumper with SC connectors on both ends. The cable features an additional outer jacket for higher stability and uses a low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) jacket material. Its violet color supports easy identification in data center and networking installations, and the I-V(ZN) HH cable type provides durability and flexibility for typical high-speed data transmission environments.

Advantages

The flat twin duplex design simplifies installation in patch panels and tight cable runs compared with standard jumpers. An extra outer jacket increases mechanical stability and protection of the fibres. The LSZH jacket reduces harmful emissions in case of fire and the OM4 fibre specification supports high-bandwidth, long-distance multimode links.

Suitable for

• Data center patching and cross-connects
• High-speed multimode networking (OM4)
• Short- to medium-distance backbone and aggregation links
• Environments requiring LSZH cabling (public buildings, confined spaces)

How to use

Route the fibre jumper along the intended cable path and secure it with appropriate cable management hardware to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress. Connect the SC connectors into matching SC ports on transceivers, patch panels or devices, ensuring clean connector endfaces before mating. Avoid exceeding the minimum bend radius specified for OM4 multimode fibres and maintain strain relief at both ends.

Recommendations

Inspect and clean SC connector endfaces prior to installation, store the cable in its original coil to prevent kinks, and use LSZH-compatible trays and ducts where required by building regulations.
