Momentnøgle Bahco 74WR-340

The Bahco 74WR-340 torque wrench is a precision tool for setting and checking torque on fasteners where controlled tightening is required. It covers a range of 40–340 Nm, offering the torque span needed for many automotive and industrial applications. The tool incorporates a ratchet head for convenient operation and a robust construction designed for repeated workshop use.

Advantages

The torque wrench delivers accurate torque control across a broad range, reducing the risk of under- or over-tightening. Its ratchet mechanism enables efficient operation in confined spaces and speeds up repetitive fastening tasks. Built from durable materials with a solid handle and head, the tool is intended for professional and hobby use where consistent torque values are important.

Suitable for

• Automotive maintenance and repair work
• Engine assembly and drivetrain fastening
• Heavy machinery and industrial bolting tasks
• Bicycle and motorcycle service where mid-to-high torque is required
• Workshop calibration and torque verification tasks

Key specifications

• Torque range: 40–340 Nm
• Drive type: ratchet head with reversible mechanism
• Accuracy: manufactured to deliver consistent torque control (factory specification applies)
• Construction: heavy-duty metal components with ergonomic handle
• Intended use: manual torque application for medium and high torque fasteners

How to use

Set the desired torque value according to the fastener specification, secure the wrench on the fastener and apply steady force until the wrench indicates that the set torque has been reached. Use the reversible ratchet to engage and position the wrench in tight spaces; avoid sudden impacts or excessive leverage beyond the specified range. After use, return the setting to the lower range to relieve spring tension and store the wrench in a dry place.

Recommendations

For accurate results, periodically verify tool calibration and follow manufacturer guidelines for torque settings. Use appropriate sockets that fit the fastener precisely and avoid extensions that change the effective leverage unless calibration compensations are applied.
