Serverkabinet Inter-Tech IPC 4U-4129L rack metallisk sølv

The Inter-Tech IPC 4U-4129L Rack Metallic Silver is a server case designed for rack-mounted environments where durability and organized internal layout are required. Constructed from steel with a metallic silver finish, the chassis supports Micro ATX, ATX and EATX motherboard form factors and accepts both 2.5" and 3.5" drive sizes. The enclosure includes three external 5.25" bays, two front 120 mm fans for active airflow, and front USB 2.0 connectivity for basic peripheral access. With dimensions of 485 mm (W) × 695 mm (D) × 180 mm (H) and a practical weight, it is built to integrate into standard server racks and provide stable mechanical support for components.

Advantages

The server case offers a sturdy steel construction and a metallic silver finish that resists day-to-day wear in server rooms. Support for multiple full-size motherboard form factors and both 2.5" and 3.5" drive formats allows flexible component configuration. Front-mounted cooling with two 120 mm fans helps maintain airflow across drives and expansion cards. Integrated front USB 2.0 ports provide simple access for maintenance tasks and device connections without opening the chassis.

How to use

Mount the chassis into a compatible 4U rack bay using standard rack-mount hardware, ensuring the case is supported at both front and rear if required by the rack design. Install the chosen motherboard (Micro ATX, ATX or EATX) and secure it to the internal standoffs. Fit power supply and drives into their respective locations; the case accepts both 2.5" and 3.5" drives and offers three external 5.25" bays for optical or other front-access devices. Connect front-panel USB and power/reset cabling to the motherboard headers, and verify that the two preinstalled 120 mm fans are connected to provide front-to-rear airflow. Route cables to maintain unobstructed airflow and close the chassis panels before powering up.

Recommendations

Use appropriate rack-mount screws and rails for installation, and verify airflow direction when installing additional fans or drive bays. For improved thermal performance in dense configurations, consider supplementing the existing front fans with additional exhaust or intake as compatible with your rack cooling plan. Regularly check and clean front airflow paths and fan blades to maintain cooling efficiency.
