Slibeblad Metabo 628605000

The Metabo 628605000 sanding sheet is a replacement abrasive designed for use with compatible Metabo sanders. With dimensions of 280 mm by 230 mm, the sheet provides a large working surface for smoothing and shaping wood, paint, plaster and similar materials. Supplied as a single pack, this sanding sheet offers a robust abrasive layer and a backing suitable for repeated fitting and removal during sanding tasks.

Advantages

This sanding sheet delivers consistent abrasive performance across its full surface, enabling even material removal and reduced streaking. Its size covers a larger area than many standard sheets, which can speed up work on flat or slightly contoured surfaces. The construction is intended to withstand moderate pressure and repeated use, helping to maintain sanding efficiency over the life of the sheet.

Suitable for

• Sanding raw and dressed timber surfaces
• Removing old paint or varnish
• Preparing plaster, drywall and filler for finishing
• General surface smoothing before painting or sealing

Key specifications

• Overall dimensions: 280 mm (width) × 230 mm (depth)
• Pack format: single sheet
• Compatibility: intended for use with various Metabo orbital and sheet sanders that accept this size
• Construction: abrasive coating on a flexible backing for repeated fitting

How to use

Select the correct grit grade of the sanding sheet for the task at hand and fit it to the compatible Metabo sander according to the machine’s fastening system. Operate the sander at the manufacturer’s recommended speed and apply light, even pressure while moving the tool across the workpiece. Replace the sheet when abrasive performance declines or if the backing becomes damaged to maintain consistent results.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as dust masks and eye protection when sanding. Test a small area first to confirm the chosen grit produces the desired surface finish. Store sheets flat and dry to preserve the backing and abrasive surface.
