Slibeplade Metabo 626421000

The Metabo 626421000 sanding plate is an accessory designed for use with oscillating multifunction tools. It provides a flat, stable sanding surface suitable for preparation and finishing of wood, painted surfaces, and other common materials. The plate's construction emphasizes durability and reliable attachment to compatible Metabo and universal tool interfaces, enabling consistent sanding performance in both professional and DIY environments.

Advantages

The sanding plate offers a robust build that resists deformation during prolonged use and maintains a consistent sanding surface. Its attachment mechanism allows for quick mounting and removal, reducing downtime when changing accessories. The plate's size and shape deliver good control and access to edges and corners when paired with flexible sanding sheets, supporting accurate surface work without excessive tool vibration.

Suitable for

• Surface preparation of wooden boards and furniture
• Removal of old paint and finish layers
• Sanding between coats of lacquer or varnish
• Light shaping and smoothing of composite materials
• DIY renovation and professional refurbishment tasks

Key specifications

• Compatibility: designed for oscillating multifunction tools with corresponding accessory mounting
• Material: rigid support plate engineered for dimensional stability during sanding
• Shape: typically triangular/rounded profile for good access to corners and edges
• Surface: flat sanding contact area suitable for standard hook-and-loop or clamped abrasive sheets
• Durability: built to withstand repeated attachment and regular sanding loads

How to use

Attach the sanding plate to a compatible oscillating multifunction tool following the tool manufacturer's instructions until it is securely seated. Fit an appropriate abrasive sheet to the plate according to the sheet attachment system on the plate, ensuring even contact across the surface. Start sanding at low speed to check behavior and increase speed as needed for the material and desired finish. Move the tool with steady, overlapping passes and avoid applying excessive pressure to prevent gouging or premature wear of the abrasive.

Recommendations

For best results, match the abrasive grit to the task: coarser grits for rapid material removal and finer grits for finishing. Inspect the plate periodically for wear or damage and replace the abrasive sheet when clogged. Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as dust masks and eye protection when sanding. Ensure the tool is switched off and unplugged or the battery removed before changing the sanding plate or abrasive.
