Slibeskive Metabo 626944000 sort 93 mm

The Metabo 626944000 sanding disc Black 93 mm is a compact abrasive accessory designed for rotary sanders and multi-tools that accept 93 mm discs. It provides a consistent abrasive surface suitable for material removal, surface preparation, and finishing tasks on wood, metal and painted surfaces. The disc's black color denotes a heavy-duty abrasive composition intended to withstand repeated use during sanding operations.

Advantages

The disc delivers uniform sanding performance across its surface and offers good resistance to clogging and wear for a longer usable life compared with lower-quality abrasives. Its diameter and shape ensure compatibility with tools designed for 93 mm sanding pads, enabling precise control and access to tighter areas. The backing material provides secure attachment to hook-and-loop or similar fastening systems, reducing slippage during operation.

Suitable for

• Sanding and smoothing wooden surfaces prior to finishing
• Removing old paint, varnish or corrosion from metal parts
• Shaping and deburring plastic and composite components
• Refining edges and contours in confined or curved areas

Key specifications

• Diameter: 93 mm
• Color: Black (heavy-duty abrasive)
• Compatible fastening: hook-and-loop or similar pad systems
• Intended use: dry sanding for general-purpose material removal and finishing
• Suitable tool type: rotary sanders and multi-tools that accept 93 mm discs

How to use

Attach the sanding disc to the tool's compatible backing pad according to the tool manufacturer's instructions, ensuring it is centered and securely fastened. Begin sanding at low to moderate speed, applying even pressure and moving the tool along the work surface to avoid gouging. Check the disc regularly for wear and replace it when abrasive performance declines or backing is damaged. Keep dust extraction active if available and wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as eye protection and a dust mask.

Recommendations

For best results, select a grit appropriate to the task (coarse for heavy material removal, finer grits for finishing) and avoid excessive pressure that can reduce disc life and damage the workpiece. Use with compatible dust extraction and ensure the backing pad and fastening system are clean to maintain secure attachment.
