Satellitantenne Preisner S860CL-G

The Preisner S860CL-G satellite antenna by Televes is designed for reliable reception in the Ku-band frequency range of 10.75–12.75 GHz. With an aperture width of 850 mm and a height of 905 mm, this rigid, graphite-finished reflector offers a maximum gain of 39.3 dBi and a noise figure value of 27 dB, supporting clear signal capture for satellite TV and data links. The antenna’s construction and weight (8.6 kg) make it suitable for outdoor installation on homes, small buildings, or broadcast distribution points where stable, long-term performance is required.

Advantages

The Preisner S860CL-G combines high gain and a compact footprint to deliver improved signal strength while occupying limited roof or mast space. Its graphite finish provides weather resistance and reduced visual impact. The antenna’s physical dimensions and balanced weight facilitate mounting and alignment, and the specified noise figure supports adequate reception sensitivity for typical Ku-band satellite services.

Suitable for

• Receiving Ku-band satellite television broadcasts
• Small to medium satellite data downlinks
• Residential and small commercial rooftop or mast installations
• Local distribution points for shared reception

How to use

Mount the Preisner S860CL-G on a suitably rated mast or bracket with a clear line of sight to the target satellite. Secure all mechanical fasteners according to the mounting hardware instructions and ensure the dish is level and stable before final tightening. Connect the feed assembly and coaxial cable to a compatible low-noise block downconverter (LNB) and run the cable to the indoor receiver or distribution equipment. Perform fine azimuth and elevation adjustments while monitoring signal strength and quality metrics on the receiver to achieve optimal alignment.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term performance, use weatherproof connectors and properly grounded coaxial cable. Verify mast strength and corrosion protection in exposed locations, and re-check alignment after severe weather. When installing in multi-receiver setups, use an appropriate distribution amplifier or multiswitch to maintain signal levels within the receivers’ input specifications.
