Lydkabel LogiLink CA1080 25m Transparent

The LogiLink CA1080 audio cable is a 25-meter, transparent-sheathed cable built with copper-clad aluminium (CCA) conductors. Both conductors have a cross-section of 1.5 mm², providing a flexible connection solution for audio setups without integrated connectors. The cable is suitable for home and professional installations where a long, unobtrusive run is required.

Advantages

The transparent sheath protects the CCA conductors while allowing visual inspection of the cable. A 25 m length enables long-distance routing between audio components. Using two 1.5 mm² conductors balances flexibility and signal-carrying capacity for typical audio applications without introducing additional connectors.

Suitable for

• Wiring passive loudspeakers in home audio systems
• Temporary or permanent speaker runs for events and venues
• Connecting amplifier outputs to speaker terminals over long distances
• Custom installations where connectorless cable is required

Key specifications

• Length: 25 m
• Conductor material: Copper-clad aluminium (CCA)
• Conductor cross-section: 1.5 mm² (both conductors)
• Connectors: None (bare cable)
• Colour: Transparent
• Brand: LOGILINK, model CA1080

How to use

Cut the required length and strip the insulation from each conductor to expose the wire for termination. Attach the bare conductors to speaker terminals or to suitable banana plugs, spade connectors, or binding posts according to your equipment’s requirements. Ensure correct polarity for all connections and secure the cable to prevent strain on terminals.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep cable runs away from power cables to minimize interference, use appropriate gauge and secure terminations, and avoid sharp bends or kinks. For high-power or long-distance professional installations, consider using pure copper conductors if lower resistance is required.
