Lydkabel LogiLink CA1085 50m Transparent

The LogiLink CA1085 audio cable is a 50 m transparent cable designed for audio signal transmission. It uses copper-clad aluminium (CCA) conductors with a conductor diameter of 2.5 mm² and is sheathed in a transparent protective layer. The cable has no pre-attached connectors, allowing custom termination for different installations.

Advantages

The CCA conductors provide a balance of conductivity and reduced weight compared with pure copper, while the transparent sheath protects the cable and makes it easy to route discreetly. The 50 m length allows long runs for home theaters, studio setups, or temporary event installations. The absence of fixed connectors gives flexibility for custom connector choice and professional termination.

Suitable for

• Home theater speaker wiring
• Recording studio and monitoring setups
• Outdoor and event audio installations
• Custom speaker assemblies and repairs

Key specifications

• Cable length: 50 m
• Conductor material: copper-clad aluminium (CCA)
• Conductor cross-section/diameter: 2.5 mm² per conductor
• Sheath: transparent protective jacket
• Connectors: none (bulk cable for custom termination)

How to use

Measure and cut the required length, strip the sheath and conductor insulation to expose the cores, and terminate the cable with suitable speaker connectors or soldered connections according to your equipment. Ensure proper polarity when connecting to amplifiers and speakers. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and protect it from crushing or prolonged exposure to moisture.

Recommendations

For best audio performance, use appropriate termination methods (banana plugs, spade lugs, or reliable solder joints) and keep run lengths and connector quality consistent. Avoid running speaker cable parallel to mains power cables to minimize interference.
