Lydkabel LogiLink CA1211 5 m 2x banan sort

The LogiLink CA1211 5m audio cable is a speaker cable with two banana plugs on each end, designed for connecting amplifiers and speakers over a medium distance. The cable is black and measures 5 metres, featuring gold-plated banana connectors and soldered terminations for stable electrical contact. A colour-code ring on the plugs allows quick polarity identification. The conductor material is pure copper to support reliable signal transmission and minimise loss.

Advantages

The gold-plated banana connectors improve corrosion resistance and maintain consistent contact quality over time. Soldered banana plug terminations provide mechanical stability and reduce the chance of intermittent connections. The 5 m length offers flexibility in speaker placement while keeping signal path integrity, and the black nylon outer finish combines abrasion resistance with a discreet appearance. Colour-coded rings on the plugs simplify correct polarity matching during installation.

Suitable for

• Connecting stereo amplifiers or receivers to passive loudspeakers
• Home audio setups where a 5 m speaker cable run is required
• Small studio or rehearsal spaces for reliable speaker connections
• Temporary or semi-permanent installations requiring easy polarity identification

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5 m
• Connectors: 2 × banana plug on each end (male)
• Connector plating: gold-plated contacts
• Conductor material: pure copper
• Outer finish: black nylon sheath
• Termination: soldered banana plugs with colour-code ring for polarity

How to use

Ensure both amplifier/receiver and speaker are powered off before connecting. Identify positive and negative terminals on both devices, using the colour-code rings on the banana plugs to match polarity. Insert the banana plugs firmly into the speaker and amplifier terminals; soldered terminations are fixed, so handle the cable by the connector housings to avoid stressing the joint. After connections are secured, power on the system and verify correct speaker operation and channel balance.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid tightly coiling the cable and keep it away from power cords to reduce potential interference. Periodically inspect the connectors for signs of corrosion or mechanical wear and ensure the banana plugs remain firmly seated in the terminals. If routing the cable through walls or ceilings, consult local building codes and ensure appropriate protection for the cable.
